Making raw meat cat food has been my journey since 1995, beginning in Vancouver, BC. It includes the development of today’s most popular raw meat cat food recipe—one that has formed the basis for many homemade and commercial raw diets in use today. The invention of the raw cat food premix in 1998 was a natural evolution, created to support a growing international community interested in raw feeding but less keen on preparing everything from scratch. With the premix, cat owners retain full control over the most important ingredient in the diet: the meat.
