A change for the better – now using RIMFROST™ Antarctic Krill

In April 2025, I made the switch to Norwegian-sourced RIMFROST™ krill to further improve the quality and sustainability of the TCfeline premix. Until that time, the krill was supplied by a Canadian company that, after being the source of freeze-dried krill in TCfeline for 15 years, decided to restructure their business and suspended their krill fishery.

Why RIMFROST?

• Closely monitored by the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)
• The only krill supplier certified by both the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Friend of the Sea

• Patented, low-impact extraction method that uses 30% less krill than other processes for the same nutritional output

This means better nutrition for cats—and better protection for the fragile Antarctic ecosystem.
